1. Overview
This website is operated by Sano Co. ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting trysanoco.com or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which are incorporated here by reference.
Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to them, you should not use this site or place an order.
We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the payment method you use is your own or one you are authorised to use.
3. Products
We sell cosmetic skincare products intended for external use only.
Product images are for illustration. Actual packaging, colour and formulation may differ slightly from the images shown, and we cannot guarantee that your screen displays colours accurately.
We reserve the right to limit order quantities, discontinue products, or refuse any order at our discretion.
4. Not medical advice
Our products are cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition, and nothing on this site should be read as medical advice.
Always read the product label before use and patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before first use. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if irritation occurs. If you have a skin condition, allergies, are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
You use our products at your own risk and are responsible for checking the ingredient list for anything you may react to.
5. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, whether or not the order has been confirmed.
Payment is taken at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any bank or currency conversion fees charged by your provider.
6. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept it when we send your confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order at any time before dispatch, including where we suspect fraud, an unauthorised payment method, or a pricing error. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.
7. Shipping and delivery
Shipping times, costs and processing details are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather or other events outside our control.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If your order does not arrive within the window set out in our Refund Policy, contact us and we will refund or resend.
8. Returns and refunds
Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms. In summary: we do not accept returns on skincare products once delivered, for health and hygiene reasons, but we refund damaged, faulty, incorrect and undelivered orders in full without requiring a return.
9. Accuracy of information
We aim to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing or other content are error-free or complete. Content on this site is provided for general information and should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision.
10. Your account and conduct
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or copy its content, or to transmit malicious code.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Sano Co. name, logo, product photography, text and page design — is our property or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.
12. Third-party services and links
We use third-party providers for payments, fulfilment, analytics and email. Their handling of your data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site we link to.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our products or this site.
15. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
